Mi-ar placea foarte mult ca cei ce au Polaris sau alte marci sa vina si sa sustina cu argumente, prezentari tehnice... ca d-aia e forum, sa discutam, sa ne contram, sa ne contrazicem si asa mai departe. Toate astea intr-un cadru amical si caracterizat de respect reciproc.
Spor si citesc cu interes pentru ca vreau sa aflu cat mai multe si despre alte marci de ateveuri care nu le cunosc prea bine.
fara sa para ca iar o spun la misto chiar ar fi interesant daca posesori de polaris ar participa la intalniri.....problema este ca nu prea sunt

sau cel putin nu printre cei pe care ii cunosc (vreo 50 sigur)
realitatea este ca nu s-au vandut prea multe iar cei ce le-au cumparat nu prea frecventeaza intalnirile sau concursurile
in cea ce priveste diferentele intre KQ si Grizzly am o singura mare problema......distribuirea cuplului sau mai pe romaneste felul in care cele doua reactioneaza atunci cand accelerezi
Grizzly raspunde prompt si constant indiferent de traseu dandu-ti "o incredere" net superioara King-ului.....King-ul ajunge la un punct in care ai impresia ca moare, bagi mana in gaz si el ramane total indiferent

Problema King-ului este totusi foarte simplu de rezolvat......inlocuiesti CDI cu unul performant care elimina "pauzele" si limitarile impuse din fabrica
Personal imi voi comanda, pentru a ma putea bucura de el, un CDI ca acesta

2005-2007 Suzuki KQ700 EFI The Copperhead® ECU is a plug and play replacement for the stock ECU in the King Quad 700 EFI. It controls the timing and fuel, and eliminates the low speed lag and heating issues. It provides a typical 21% power increase from idle to redline (WOT), and a part throttle power increase of up to 40%. It utilizes repetitive fire ignition to deliver hotter spark with longer spark duration for maximum power and virtually eliminates misfires, while giving you easy starts and crisp throttle response. The unit is 100% waterproof and can be fully submerged without issue.
These ignitions are
REPLACEMENT units, not piggyback units like our competition. (Theirs installs in conjunction with the factory computer). Each unit is designed for the particular machine it is installed on. The timing and fuel maps are dyno tuned for maximum power and optimum operation. This typically results in power increases from 4-6HP to the ground, increased fuel economy at part throttle, cooler running engine, as well as removal of the low end bog and safety limiters (I.E. reverse, differential lock). By offering a full replacement unit, we can give more consistent power and operation than other piggyback ignitions and fuel controllers, complete with easier installation. This allows the machine to be returned back to "stock" for dealer service, with minimal effort, if required.
Installation is easy. No cutting, splicing or running wires through the machine. Simple unplug the factory computer and plug in the replacement Copperhead® unit. The unit comes pre-programmed with two setups. Configuration #1 keeps the factory limiters (reverse limiter, revolution limiter, differential lock limiters, etc.). Configuration #2 turns off the limiters, giving maximum power on 87 octane fuel. These two configurations can be changed for different pipes, octane, etc. when ordered, or with our optional USB interface. In addition our unit has four (4) programmable outputs that can be used to trigger a NOS setup or shift light. The unit also has a built in tachometer output as well as a tether input.

The unit will come preloaded with the following configuration:
- Map #1: 87 octane fuel, factory safety limiters, stock pipe.
- Map #2: 87 octane fuel, no limiters, optimized for maximum power, stock pipe.
- Unit is configured for 25" tires, and the stock fuel injector.
We also preload specific setups for your application. During the checkout process, indicate the tire size, octane of fuel, pipe brand and aftermarket injector (if installed), if you want a specific configuration. We do sell the USB programmer to change the mapping.
